Enjoy an amazing culinary experience just outside of Rome. After touring a local winery, you will be welcomed by a professional chef who will teach you how to cook traditional Italian pasta.
On this 5-hour excursion, you will head out of Rome with a private driver to the wooded hills of Castelli Romani. The name of the area translates to “Roman Castles”, but in reality it simply refers to a collection of wine-producing hills just southeast of Rome. The tour, stops at Antico Casale, where you’ll meet the winemaker and then tour the vineyard and cellars. At the winery, you can learn how the wine is produced, and maybe even sample a grape fresh off of the vine. This tour also includes an amazing culinary experience, and you will be welcomed by a professional chef who will teach you how to cook traditional Italian pasta. Following your winery tour, you will sit down for a tasting session, sampling 3 varieties of wine that are produced in this region. The first wine you’ll taste is a white Frascati DOCG, which means the wine has its designation of origin guaranteed. The second is a red wine IGP, which has a protected geographical indication. Last but not least, you will taste a sweet Cannellino wine. Each wine is paired with a delicious Italian specialty, such as Roman pizza or olive oil, as well as in-season fruits and vegetables from the garden.
