Eternal City Private and Guided Tours

By booking a tour or service with Eternal City Private and Guided Tours, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation and/or payment has been received.
Tour details such as itinerary, duration, and inclusions are described at the time of booking.

2. Payment

Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the service.
Prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include taxes unless otherwise stated.
Any additional services requested after confirmation may be subject to extra charges.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour start time: full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time: no refund.
- No-shows or late arrivals are non-refundable.
Supplier cancellations:
- In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

Please note: some special services (tickets, private transport, winery visits, or third-party suppliers) may have stricter cancellation policies, which will be communicated at booking.

4. Changes to Bookings

Changes to date, time, or itinerary are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
Requests for changes must be made in writing as early as possible.

5. Pick-Up & Meeting Times

Guests are responsible for being ready at the agreed pick-up or meeting point 5–10 minutes before the scheduled time.
Delays caused by guests may result in shortened tours with no refund.
Missed pick-ups due to incorrect address details or late arrival are non-refundable.

6. Tour Conditions

Tours operate rain or shine unless otherwise stated.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for walking tours.
Some sites may have security checks, dress codes, or access restrictions beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to traffic, weather, strikes, or site restrictions while maintaining the quality of the experience.

7. Health & Safety

Guests participate in tours at their own risk.
It is the guest’s responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, mobility issues, or dietary requirements in advance.
We are not responsible for illness, injury, or loss incurred during the tour unless caused by proven negligence.

8. Liability

Eternal City Private and Guided Tours acts as an organizer of experiences and is not liable for delays, accidents, loss, or damage caused by third parties.
We are not responsible for personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during tours.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour.

9. Children

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of minors.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or extreme weather conditions.

11. Photography & Marketing

By participating in our tours, guests may appear in photos or videos taken during the experience.
These materials may be used for promotional purposes unless guests explicitly request otherwise in writing.

12. Privacy

Personal data provided during booking is used solely for communication and tour organization.
We do not share personal information with third parties except when necessary to provide booked services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Italian courts.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Eternal City Private and Guided Tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
